Days are long and the Years are short.

I can't remember a time where the day went on and I wasn't present during any of it. I feel like there is always so much to do but zero time to do it all. Each day seems to drag by while things continue to pile up. Yet, I still can't figure out how I'm a freshman in college. I guess the saying "Days are long and the years are short." proves to be true. This unveils a question I've been asking myself a lot lately, "How do I find time to appreciate and live everyday?" How can you find time to celebrate today before the future sneaks up on you? I've yet to find this answer. I don't like the idea of waking up one day to find I'm a 40 year old who hasn't lived any of their 40 year old existence. Being aware of this problem most people find themselves in can only get you so far. How do I combat the "funny tricks of time" as ABBA would say? How do I make the most of every single second of everyday? What advice do you all have? Has this been on your mind as well?
What is your general interaction with nature?
I always spend time outside.
I'm always on the inside looking out.
